How to configure Microsoft messenger for MAC

Before you begin:

Microsoft messenger for Mac 7.0.2 required
It can be downloaded here Microsoft messenger

Procedure:

Once Microsoft messenger for Mac has been downloaded and installed click on Messenger and then preferences in the top left hand corner

In the preferences window click on accounts and then click change


In the corporate settings window enter the following:

E-mail address: your username with Young Jedi
User ID: SL\john.smith#examp: this will 20 characters of your username, replacing the at symbol (@) with a hash symbol (#) and also if the 20th character of your email ends in a dot (.) then it gets replaced by a _ (underscore) symbol.
Password: Your password

Click Ok once done



Click on the option manually configure settings and then in server name or IP address enter the following: sip.msexchange2007.com:443 and select TLS for the connect using option. Click Ok once done.

You should now be able to sign to your account.
